HISTORY

1906
THE ORIGINAL ENTREPRENEUR

Sloan Valve was founded by William Elvis Sloan (1867-1961) who began his career as a pipefitter but went on to invent (among several other inventions and patents) the Royal Flushometer, a mechanism can be seen the world over today wherever people go. 2010
SV WORKLOFTS

Upon completion of construction, the first tenant moved in. SV Worklofts is now home to many of Chicago's creators, makers, and entrepreneurs.
